So many things I loved about this book, but Frank did Brit wrong. I found Frank to be really annoying, and all along you know someone is going to get hurt in this love triangle scenario so no one can really have a happy ending. I think we are supposed to think Frank & Joy are so cute, but I just couldn’t root for them given his actions. Despite that, this is a great book depicting the cultural struggle with Korean American teens trying to create their own path and navigate American society against the resistance of their Korean born parents. Also, the friendship between Frank and his best friend Q is really sweet. That was probably my favorite part of the whole book.
