I liked it a lot!
Frankly in Love could be described as a Teen book, but for me was so much more than that. The author was able to describe perfectly what it means to be a first generation american when both parents are from the same country. I am an immigrant myself and I found many things in the book to be an accurate representation of the internal struggle of individuals that live between two worlds. My husband too is a first generation (Greek), and told me that the situation described in the book by Frank was the same he had growing up...
This book was capable, through a very simple and common every-day story, to go deep into the analysis of the question: what does it mean to be American? Frankly in love shows you that the answer is different for each of us, and that is actually what makes America great.
