This is not the typical type of book I read, but I found it rather funny and quite entertaining. I liked the style of writing and quickly became very fond of Frank. His dilemma was not something I could relate to personally, but the author did a good job of connecting me to him and making me feel his angst and pain over the situation. I struggled with the thought of parents accepting and practicing the idea of disowning their children. It's just not something I could ever do or that my parents would ever do. Family is too important and sacrifices and compromises are made when the love is unconditional. I'm not sure if I would make it through the entire book, but I do think it's worthy of an attempt. This is one book outside of my normal genre that I would be willing to try.
