I really enjoyed this book. The characters were well written and I enjoyed reading a fake-dating romcom from a male point of view. In general, Frank was a funny, down-to-earth teenager who was trying to figure out the whole dating/love thing. I also liked that the story’s characters were a mix of diversities.
I did feel as though some aspects of the book were dragged out a bit too much. One example of this the whole situation with Brit. Prolonging the situation ended up making Frank seem like a jerk, which I wasn’t really a fan of. I understand that Frank was inexperienced and didn’t quite know how to handle the whole situation, but it was still a bit messed up.
Overall, it was a good, worthwhile read that I would recommend to others.
