To be completely transparent I did not finish this book, I stopped at fifty-ish percent. I will say the writing style was unlike any other I’ve ever read before, however I don’t think it worked for me?? Maybe it was just the characters or my own expectations, as I truly believed this would be a new all-time favorite. I’m curious to read a different novel by Mr. Yoon to see if it was just the characters in Frankly, In Love that made this book fall flat for me. I truly just didn’t connect with Frank, I wasn’t emotionally invested in his and his family’s story which sucks to say because I really wanted to be apart of the group that is completely and utterly obsessed with Frank and his love story :(
