The excerpt stopped at the perfect time. Now I'm invested and wanting more. Frank and Brit are a thing and how is that going to go over with his conservative Korean parents? I'd like to continue on to find out. I hope that Joy and Hanna's stories also get some action.
The writing makes the characters seem childish so far, even for main characters who are in high school. The characters seem like smart kids, but their dialog seems more like middle school kids are talking. They are seniors about to go to college, they can talk a little more grown up. More that will change as the book continues. The names of the characters are silly, but I'll let that slide. It still seems like it will be a cute and quick read.
