Frank Li has two names. There's Frank Li, his American name. Then there's Sung-Min Li, his Korean name. Frank barely speaks Korean and was born in Southern California.

Even so, his parents still expect him to end up with a nice Korean girl. Which is a problem because Frank is in love with Brit Means, who just so happens to be white.

Desperate to be with Brit, Frank turns to family friend Joy Song, who is in a similar bind herself. Together they hatch a plan to make their families think they are dating so they can be with the people they truly want to be with.

I think we can all guess what happens next.....

I love the Fake Dating trope, nothing makes me happier then when two people pretending to be in love actually fall in love.

I would have loved this book if it had just been that but I'm so happy to tell you that this book was so much more.

Not only is this book a sugary sweet contemporary romance but it also explored the difficulties faced by the child of immigrants. Frank feels like he can never be Korean or American enough.

I loved this book so much!
