I really liked this book! It definitely took me a little bit to really enjoy it though mainly because I wasn't a huge fan of the parents (there was one scene early on where they showed exactly how racist they were to other asians which I was surprised by) and I didn't care much for the romance either. It felt a little insta-like to me because I felt that they barely knew each other but suddenly, they were going gaga over each other.
However, once the fake dating trope really started and the cultural identity crisis that Frank was facing started to reveal itself, I started to really enjoy the book. I was really able to relate with Frank in terms of being Asian but also American and living with a dual culture.
