Here's something I didn't have to deal with when I was growing up. My world was white. There were no Asian or African-American kids in my school or my neighborhood. Did I notice that then? No, I didn't. I didn't have any reason to notice. When my daughter went to school, things had changed greatly. Her school had whites, Latinos, African-Americans, Laotians, Cheyennes all mixed together. So inter-racial dating was a thing for her. This book was written for my daughter's children.
