Coming of age stories are one my favorite genres, especially when we get to meet someone struggling with identity in a larger scales- such as two completely different cultures.
The writing style is fun and perfectly written for the age range; it’s engaging and imaginative, the main character is very descriptive in his internal monologue, which makes it much more interesting to read.
The cover is pretty cool - doesn’t give way as much to the story but I love the play on words.
