I loved the excerpt so much. I didn’t think I would because I usually don’t enjoy books told from a teen boy’s perspective. I’m a woman so I just don’t get it like I do when reading from a girl’s perspective but this is fantastic! It’s heavy in some ways and comical in others. I can’t wait to buy this for the library and share it with all the guys. The voice reminds me of Sherman Alexie (I recommend his books all the time) and the story itself has a bit of a John Green feel. I will have to quickly read it before sharing it with students (librarian perk)! Also I love the cover. It just pops.
