At first, I saw the author's name and I had to check him out. And I went crazy because of the offer. Nicola Yoon's husband? Hell yeah. So I went on to read the first impression with a lot of expectations and Mr. Yoon smashed them.

At first glance, all that I could see was the excessive use of puns which for some reason makes the book even delightful. Then I began to get into the story of a Korean-American boy struggling to understand his parents. We see him losing his elder sister because of her life choices and their parents' unwillingness to bend their norms even slightly. We see his love for his sister when he says he will never give up on her. I think the best thing about a book would be for it make you feel and see things and this book does it.

I'm also very intrigued because this is literally the first cultural-clash kind of book that I am interested in. Definitely looking forward to reading the entire book!
