I've been excited to read this book even since David Yoon announced it on Twitter that he was writing this book. When I read the extract, I felt so connected with Frank. Not only do I love the title and the play on the main characters name, but just how much Frank's story sounds a lot like my life. I am also disconnected from my Asian roots, but that doesn't make me any less Asian. It also depicts the unfortunate reality of Asian culture. Whilst some families are accepting, others are not and I was glad that this book brought it up so it can be discussed by Asian readers. I can't wait to read the rest of the book!
