I did not find this book all that appealing, as the writing style made it hard to read - at least for me. I understand that part of that disconnect is cultural, and I have found myself more and more trying to step out of my box and explore different types of books written by different people. This one did not work for me, though.
The other issue is that the story itself never caught me. If I cannot read a story and be enveloped by it,I I do not want to continue reading. That is how I felt about this book.
