The writing is a little difficult to get used to. It's a stream of consciousness but it's not as bad as Call me By Your Name. The cultural aspect is really interesting. I don't know much about Korean culture so learning about names and how people are viewed is interesting for me and I relate to it a bit because I'm first generation Polish in the USA.
I haven't read any of Nicola Yoon's books but this one from her husband sounded really interesting and I think I'm going to pick it up when it comes out.
