First of all....a YA book narrated by a male voice?!? Love this great concept. So many thought provoking / discussion starting topics in this book. Korean parents that are racist towards just about everyone that isn't white...yet, they immigrated to America for the opportunities and diversity. How does Frank gain the approval of his parents when he will cause them the biggest disappointment by falling in love with a non-Korean girl? As with all the other Yoon books I have read and fallen in love with, I hope that love prevails over loyalty to an old way of thinking.
