I like the cover! It's simple but colorful and fun. My only pet peeve while reading this was that there were sentences that said “me and ______/_______ and me” when it should have been “____ and I.” That aside, I really really loved this sneak peek. It addresses the harsh reality of racism and how it plays a role in life expectations, but it also had me feeling giddy when reading about first kisses and the excitement that comes with dating, or even crushing, as a teenager. I must finish this book! I need to find out what happens. I definitely think this book will be a YA hit!
