I am writing this a little vague to not have spoilers.
This was a face paced, fascinating, plot twist filled novel.
I found the various quadrants in this world fascinating. They were so stark different from each other. The plot was so well done that I read this novel in one sitting. The way the quadrants are infused into the storyline is well done and enjoyable.
I found most of the villains obvious. There are one or two you will not see coming at all. The deaths of the queens and the intertwined relationships were also really shocking throughout the story.
As I was reading, I kept going oh I so saw that coming, and then you would get thrown a plot twist so heavy there is no way someone could predict it. It kept me wanting to read more and more.
I feel there is a lot that could be done with this world if the authour chose to, but it was nice reading a standalone novel. I have recommended it to several family and friends.
