Four Dead Queens by Astrid Scholte is a book about four queens that, honestly, I was expecting to be dead by the get go. But they seem to be narrating bits and pieces of this story. The snesk peek only gives you 5 chapters. In them you meet Keralie, a thief seems to be the primary narrator, then Iris: Queen of Archia, and then Corra: Queen of Eonia. I am assuming in the full length version you will hear from the other queens as well.
Each place has it's own set of specific rules and customs, which is interesting. I look forward to more world building.
Keralie seems to get stuck in the middle of a murder mystery.
So far, everything is fast paced and interesting.
This is definitely something that I would be interested in reading in full, and recommending to friends!
