At first I thought this was good, then it was sort of tedious and repetitive. The secrets revealed were surprising, but I had already guessed most. I just forgot about them. And then the things that did surprise me, I didn't like - if that makes sense. So, it made it hard to continue on. It did not hold my attention well enough to want to read the "prequel chapter." I just glanced through it to find out one thing.
I did enjoy the writing style and at first this book had my full attention and I thought I would devour it, but then it just started to fall flat.
I didn't know enough about any of the characters to care one way or another what happened or didn't happen to them.
Then, everything just gets wrapped up in a pretty bow at the end very quickly.
