I have never heard of this author before. To be honest I thought ok, here we go another story about more queens. As most of the YA popular books have been about queens. So in my head I really did not expect much. The cover I liked, I received this book in my owl crate, cracked it open and OH MY.. this story is like nothing I have ever read before. I honestly could not put this book down, and was mad I started on a day I was working. But I was able to read this book in a few hours and I was so blown away. I absolutely loved this book and I am recommending it to all my friends that read YA, this is currently now one of my favorite books of 2019. Also I usually re home books from my owl crate but this one is up on the top shelf to keep.
