I must say that I was drawn to this book because of it's beautiful cover, calling me to read it. I dove into it with much enthusiasm and fell in love with a world of quadrants. I loved the idea of a thief and her victim pairing up. (And I am especially partial to thieves, as evidenced by my favorite TV show, White Collar). And while I loved most of the book, to me, it felt like everything was rushed and shoved into the third part of the book. You can immediately tell who the mastermind was once he/she was introduced. It was hard to connect with Keralie (especially when she's kissing Varin in an empty closet when she should be investigating/saving Quadara). I felt really rushed. I love the concept of murder mystery but I wish I was kept a little more in the dark about the mastermind and had to keep guessing.
