I absolutely loved this book! When I first saw the cover, I knew it was a book I wanted to try. After reading the synopsis, I was certainly intrigued. I love a good, twisty book! I was anxious to get my hands on this one.
My expectations were certainly met. I loved the unpredictability of Four Dead Queen’s plot. As someone who reads a lot, I’ve found that I can typically see plot twists before they happen. That was not the case for me when I read Four Dead Queens! I’ve never really read a fantasy murder mystery before, but I thoroughly enjoyed this one.
I also really liked the characters. They gave me Six of Crows vibes, which is never a bad thing. Morally grey characters are my favorite!
