I'd heard such amazing things about this book and I could not wait to dive right into it. Unfortunately, it disappointed me greatly.
The plot twists were not plot twists at all, they all felt predictable and I wasn't on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what happened next.
The romance in this book was just that, a romance that I think the author felt like she had to put into the book, even when it didn't work well with the story.
I didn't know the queens enough to feel sad when they finally met their untimely deaths, I wish we'd been able to see just a little bit more of who the queens were so we were more attached to them.
