First of all, that cover! So beautiful and inviting. This book right off the bat keeps you wanting more. It's suspenseful, thrilling, and full of constant surprises. It's not your typical fantasy and the author does a great job in giving the reader enough mystery and fantasy. Multiple POVs that can get quite tiresome but giving you enough information about the queens. I had a perspective of the book going into it and finished reading with a whole new mindset of the book. As you begin to read your initial thought is, okay the queens are dead. As you continue to read you find out this isn't true and you build a relationship with the queens. You find out all about their secrets, their lives, and their relationships with other characters in the book. I was quite surprised to find out this wont be a series?! I could so see this becoming a series and a good one!
