First off i'll say that I really enjoyed the premise of this book. I thought the different kingdoms were so interesting and the politics of how they work together and the fragile bonds they have was fascinating! I thought the plot twists were earned and interesting and I felt satisfied by the ending.
My issue with this book was the characters. I found them to be one-dimensional and the romance was not convincing. It was so disappointing since I enjoyed the story but kept getting distracted by my dislike of the characters! I did like some of the Queens but not our two Point of View narrators.
I will still try a few other books by this author because I think she does have creative and interesting plots!
