At a first glance, I am super excited about the world-building that I am noticing in this story. I love the unique world with four different sections of the country. It's not usual that you see a world with different technologies, customs, etc just in one country! I love it already.
I am very intrigued by the characters. Keralie seems like a tough, strong, and yet relateable character. I am also fascinated by the switch in perspectives to the Queens. Obviously the title of the book is Four Dead Queens, which makes me very interested to see the story from the Queens' points of view.
Overall the characters really appeal to me, which is important for me to feel invested in a story. I am very excited about this book!
