One of my most anticipated YA fantasy debuts of 2019 is Four Dead Queens by Astrid Scholte and I was not disappointed by the first look. I loved how the cheaters switched between Keralie, a pickpocket on the streets of the capital, and the different queens' perspectives. The writing style and narrative is excellent as it kept me engaged and wanting to keep reading more.
The world is intriguing already and I want to know even more about how the ruling of the different queens and their quadrants work. It is truly an interesting concept to have four queens ruling their separate areas together in the same room.
I cannot wait to see where this new series will go next and what will happen to our main characters!
