Keralie is one of the most trained thieves in Quadara. Meanwhile Varin is true citizen of Quadara in every sense. Everything to him is black and white. But has fate would have their lives get intangled and they both ended up right in the middle of a conspiracy theory that has left four of Quadara's queen dead.
They both now must work together to figure out who is behind these murders. Even though I enjoyed the relationship between these two main characters, it felt rushed.
Even though it does feel like a slow build up before they like each other, it is pretty evident from the start of the book that these two are attracted to each other, making it more like an insta-love.
Even though the story had a strong mystery story line, at times it felt rushed as it was a standalone.
