This is one of my most anticipated releases of 2019, and the excerpt made me really excited for the rest of the book! The plot is super intriguing and has the potential to be really complex and involve a lot of elements which is really cool. I also really liked the writing style.
The main character (other than the Queens) is super intriguing as well. I can’t wait to hear her backstory, and the fact that she got betrayed within the first 60 pages means this book is going to be really fast paced. We’ve already learnt a lot about her and her past, and it’s only been 5 chapters!
The setting is also really cool and unique. I think the concept is kind of similar to the different factions in Divergent, but it’s really different here. There is also a mystery element which I wasn’t expecting but I’m still really excited and cannot wait for this book to come out!
