This book took me a bit of getting used to. Or just getting into it. I almost quit on it. But I'm so glad I kept going. I thought I knew who the heir of the throne was going to be. Only because of us reading her side of what was going on. Then it was this huge twist and I was so wrong. I'm happy I was wrong because we got a whole new character (who I wished to smack around a bit). But what the inspector did was absolutely awesome! I really enjoyed the story and the characters so much! I really loved the connection that Kera and Varin had built between eachother. Especially with him being an Enoist. And also how they changed eachother in a good way. This book couldnt have gone any differently.
