This was a good story. I really enjoyed it. The cover is absolutely stunning, and the synopsis made this a must read. I was really happy when I won a copy.
I enjoyed the world building, the complexity of the characters, and the way they interacted with each other. Sometimes in this type of YA books, you can get bogged down with too many details and info dump. I think this book had just the the right amount.
I also appreciated that the characters were age appropriate, as far as the way they acted and spoke. They didn't speak like overly obnoxious teeny boppers. They were written in away that readers of any age teen-adults would enjoy. Loved the ending, and really liked the way the first few chapters grabbed me.
