The culture of this new fantasy world, with its four queens that rule over quadrants responsible for different tasks in society, is very interesting to me. I am curious to see how it changes and develops with the plot of the book. Keralie seems to be a very interesting character, judging by this small peek into her life. Her creative means of theft reminds of other popular characters such as Delilah Bard from A Darker Shade of Magic and the main characters from Six of Crows. Having loved these books, this seems very promising to me and I am excited to get to know Keralie and her world in this story!
