As a reader I always want to broaden my horizons and try out new to me genre's. Fantasy is not anything I have ever had any interest in. Not in film or in books. So when I saw this come up I thought why not read a first impression to see if maybe, just maybe, I found a hidden gem. Perhaps even making me a fantasy fan. Well, I stand by my initial thoughts on fantasy because this book is clearly not for me. I do hope others enjoy it and that the author has a successful future.
