I would describe Four Dead Queens as a YA Fantasy Mystery Thriller, with good character development and a fast paced plot. The cover art conveys the story with the depiction of the crowns haphazardly piled upon one another. My first impression is that Four Dead Queens will be interesting enough, and somewhat relatable, to the target young adult audience. Personally, I found the few pages that I read to be well written and engaging enough that I will look for the book at my local library or bookstore.
