Astrid Scholte created a new world in Four Dead Queens that is vibrant and rich. In the short sample I read, I found characters that were intriguing and not flat. I am looking forward to seeing how the heroine manages to get herself out of the sticky situation she was in when the sample ended. It looks like the twists will be worth the wait. Definitely a must read on my list.
