By allowing the reader into the heads of the murdered Queens, I could not help but feel even more deeply about them, wishing them different paths than the ones already fated. All the dark motivations and secrets swirling throughout the story kept me turning the pages to discover the next reveal—or twist. One of my favorite things about this book was how, despite the dark subject, it was so much fun to read, which shows the strength of Scholte’s amazing storytelling!
