I like the thought of a YA fantasy murder mystery bending of genres. The world building starts out slow, but picks up as the chapters shift from Keralie's viewpoint to that of the queens. So far, I'm curious to find out more about the queens in addition to following Keralie and solving the mystery.

This first look reminds me a bit of both "Three Dark Crowns" by Kendare Blake and "The Queen of the Tearling" by Erika Johansen. The cover is pretty, although perhaps a little too similar to Blake's "Three Dark Crowns" series.
