Already hooked on this book. While the idea of a pickpocket gang isn't new, Keralie seems like a very strong female lead with an interesting backstory to be discovered, and Mackiel has already gone from friend to possible foe, just in the sample! I love the mixture of mystery and fantasy and cannot wait to read the whole thing! The cover is an attention grabber as well.
