Found is the first book in The Conduit Chronicles series. It follows a plot where myth and folklore weave a trail full of challenges for the main character, Ophelia Banner. The story is told from different points of view, Lukas, Elias, and Ophelia. So if you are not into switching takes, you might not be into it. I really enjoy the switch-up as it keeps things fresh. The first part of the book is a bit slow but the second part it ramps up. The later part jumps ahead and introduces a new main character named Lucas. All in all the plot is OK and keeps you engaged to a point. The main problem I had was the writing style. It seemed really forced and did not flow well for me. The author mentions that the book is styled like The Magicians Series by Lev Grossman. I loved those books and found that this one was not even close in writing style or imagination. I think there is definitely an audience for this, but I did not really get into it.
