Honestly this book was a bit of a drag for the first half of the book. I didn’t really know what was going on because you had two different POVs for two characters that hadn’t even met till almost halfway through the book. The writing style was ok but not amazing. The plot was honestly pretty predictable.
The characters in the book weren’t bad. My favorite part of the characters were all the different powers. Though it was a little hard to remember all the names she had for certain magical beings. The protagonists Ophelia and Elias weren’t that bad, they were a little flat, but not terrible. There was another character who got a POV about halfway through the book, and that’s the other love interest- Lucas. I really didn’t enjoy the love triangle aspect of the book and Lucas especially frustrated me many times. Overall the book wasn’t bad but I don’t know if I’ll end up reading the rest of the series
