At first glance of the cover, I wasn’t quite sure this book was for me. And I’ll admit, the first page didn’t grab me, either. I expected more of a fantasy, world-building beginning. However, I quickly found myself sucked into the beginning action scene. I also enjoyed the two characters’ different perspectives and am eager to read the rest of the story. I have to know what happens next!
