Based on the cover and the summary, this seemed like the type of book I might enjoy. The premise isn't overly unique, but it still drew me in. However, the writing style in the First Look completely turned me off of this book. It's juvenile and clunky, I'm not sure I could make it through more than a few pages of words that were clearly searched as synonyms that barely work in a sentence.
