I will not lie. I didn't like this story. The writing is so, so stilted and it is telling me the story without immersing me into it. Maybe it's the point of view it's written or the styling but I was almost immediately turned off within the first paragraph. I feel like the idea is there but it needed to go through many more drafts of editing.
