Not for me
The cover is too dark and does not draw me in at all, and the first look of the story doesn't either. It's written in the sort of passive "there was this, there was that," way that I dislike. In addition, nearly all of the sentences are so similar in length it becomes impossible not to read it in a monotone. When that happens, I get so focused on the rhythm that I lose track of what's actually happening in the story.
