Honestly, I love fantasy novels but the writing in this one just isn’t doing it for me. It feels pretty stilted and just uninteresting. I want to like it, and maybe it’s just a case where the first chunk doesn’t accurately portray the book as a whole, we will have to see. This one is probably not for me though.
