From reading the description, this book seems like an amazing adult fantasy adventure, and perfect for fans of Sarah J. Maas. When I started reading the excerpt, I was disappointed that it is told them alternating first person points of view. That's a pet peeve of mine. This is not the book's fault. I'm just explaining why I can't get into it personally. I'm sure many readers will enjoy this book anyway.
