I was excited to see an adult fantasy book offered on BookishFirst as most of the fantasy offered here is YA. I was not drawn in by the cover. The formatting of the first impression was crowded with small print and harder to read than most of the books. I was not drawn in but I can see this book being successful with the right audience.
