Yas and Raf are best friends who live in the fantasy town called Moonlight Bay. This town used to thrive off of tourism and have pink and lavender seas. It was truly a special place until things started to change and the tourism dwindled down to nothing.
There’s a lot of tension in the town due to their struggles, but Yas and Raf are always there for each other, which is something they have always said ever since they were little.
Can the two work together to help out their town? Can Moonlight Bay go back to how it once was?
The story was okay, but the book did lack descriptions on the importance of the pink and lavender water, the leaves, and the overall town. The book also threw characters in without much context or backstory, so it made it very difficult to follow and what their relationship was to the characters. I liked the relationship between Raf and Yas, but that's about it.
