This seems like a star crossed teenage romance. I'm lost on the magic of the separation in the first look, I'd need to read more carefully to get a better handle on it. I'm curious as to why the door doesn't open. I believe this will be a good page turner with true love hopefully prevailing. The magical part should be a good addition. Curious to learn about this world.
